Farmers are given loans from the bank for agricultural work, this loan is given by cooperative and national banks. Cooperative loans are crop loans which remain for Kharif and Rabi crops. For this, the farmer has to open an account under the Kisan Credit Card Scheme in the nearest cooperative bank. After which the farmer is given an agricultural loan according to his land. Due to rampant corruption many times the farmer has to pay bribe for the loan. So many times farmers do not get loan.
How to apply for a loan?
The farmer will have to register online by visiting the committee or e-Mitra center. Registration will be done on the basis of biometric verification. After this, crop loans to member farmers will be disbursed through Digital Member Register (DMR). The entire process of receiving applications from farmers has been made online.
